Jo Hamilton: Portland’s own Davy Crochet
Holy crap! That’s all I could say when I walked into Stumptown yesterday and saw Jo Hamilton’s artwork hanging on the walls. Originally trained in drawing and painting at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, she didn’t realize what she could do with yarn until more than ten years later. GO SEE THIS SHOW! It is amazing. The opening reception is tonight from 6-8 at Downtown Stumptown with music from Jed Allan and the Pink Widowers. The show will be up until March 31st.
